Mind ClutterWhen your mind is cluttered with all kinds of things you are trying to remember you end up with fewer, if any, new thoughts. Whether it is your grocery list, life goals or tasks to complete on a given day they all prevent one's own creativity and the ability to think new thoughts. We can only hold just so many thoughts and when we are using lots of energy keeping those things bouncing around in our mind there is no room for new ideas.
Much like a room that is cluttered with furniture, papers and extra stuff there is little room for that one new and sparkling object. When you bring in new things they do not stand out because they are just mixed in with all the clutter. They don't stand out. With little room for new thoughts and increased creativity our lives we become less productive and find ourselves stuck in the same old loop. Do yourself a favor and take a few minutes to write down all that mind chatter. Give that mind clutter a place to go where you can revisit it later if necessary or simply discard it. Now with all that free space in your mind you will notice new and creative thoughts. You might have a new perspective on an old thought or a new situation. With all that freedom you will notice subtle changes happening and the joy of fresh ideas. Do you need more help in clearing your mind clutter? Give me a call or send me an email and I would love to help you remove that negative mind chatter. Thank You Helen!
